Dear Principal and Human Resource Representative,
I am interested in teaching at your middle school. I have a genuine desire to engage youth and take pleasure in facilitating their intellectual and character development. Through my experience as a Network for Enhancing Teacher Quality (NET-Q) resident, two year national service volunteer, youth extracurricular coordinator, and office administrator, I have acquired and refined the skills needed to impart information to students in a captivating way.
Throughout my employment history, I have been involved in the process of youth development. More recently, I have committed two years to national service with Outward Bound Atlanta AmeriCorps (OBAA) and have matriculated into Georgia State University's Masters of Arts to Teach Program. My term of service as an OBAA member has equipped me with teaching skills and the ability to coordinate lessons and service projects. Dino run 2 game. On a weekly basis, I have facilitated the learning of youth from all age ranges. I have helped lead an 8th grade after-school program with the goal of successful matriculation for students from middle to high school. I also provided enriching environmental instructional activities, mentorship, and tutoring to elementary students. In addition to these programs, I have directed experiential learning through team-building initiatives and a high ropes obstacle course with high school students and adults. I utilize reflection and creativity to facilitate a meaningful experience.

My experience with youth development extends beyond the last two years with OBAA, and I am currently enrolled within Georgia State University's Masters of Arts to Teach Program for Middle Grades Math and Science. I have successfully completed three semesters of study and am eager to obtain a position as a Middle Grades Math or Science teacher. Upon completion of this program this upcoming May, I will be fully certified to teach in Georgia, and I will obtain a master's level education. Currently, I have successfully completed the Math GACE and am scheduled to take the Science GACE. I will make a great candidate for a position at your school because I have experience teaching and mentoring youth from diverse backgrounds and have the capacity to take on a plethora of roles and responsibilities.
